Oral History and Ethnography

At the Bureau of Cultural and Historical Preservation (BCHP), we understand that the heart of Palau’s cultural heritage lies in the stories, experiences, and traditions passed down through generations.

Through our Oral History and Ethnography services, we actively document and preserve the rich cultural tapestry of Palau by collecting, recording, and analyzing personal stories and traditional practices. These services are essential to maintaining a deep connection to the cultural and historical identity of the Palauan people.
